Aperitivo: Seize the means of food production

A warm welcome to the first Lymy Aperitivo of the year!

Aperitivo is a great chance to start the weekend with some drinks, vegan food and interesting conversations at Lymy. This time we will discuss together with the co-op Oma Maa about food sovereignty, community-supported agriculture and local, sustainable food production.

The discussion starts around 7 pm, and after that the evening continues with hanging out and enjoying food and drinks in a more informal setting till around 10 pm. You'll also have the chance to taste how sovereign food production tastes!

The presentation will be held in English but questions can be asked in Finnish as well. When entering Lymy through the front door, there are five steps leading downwards into the space. The front door is 79 cm wide. There are three steps up to the bathroom. The door to the bathroom is 64 cm wide. When passing the kitchen door there is one single three cm high step.

We ask that everyone who enters the space not assume consent for anything from anyone, including being photographed.

Tilaisuus järjestetään englanniksi, mutta kysymyksiä voi esittää myös suomeksi. Lymyyn laskeudutaan katutasosta viittä porrasta pitkin. Ulko-ovi on 79 cm leveä. Pieneen kylpyhuoneeseen noustaan kolmea porrasta pitkin. Kylpyhuoneen ovi on 64 cm leveä. Keittiön oven kohdalla on kolme cm korkea kynnys.
